Hello
I'm looking for some clear, recent, advice about getting married in Algeria. The main issue for me is understanding which documents to produce. So far we've been advised
Notice of legal capacity to get married
Notice of no impediment to get married
Medical certificate proving I'm healthy with no disease.
For some reason the first and last seem impossible to get hold of, my doctor wanted to know exactly which diseases etc and how they define being of sound mind to marry! I'm pretty sure it's just a simple letter confirming I have a clean bill of health which can be seen by my medical records.
Any British people who have got married there within the last year please could you help? The law seems to change like the wind there so I'm not sure the same rules applied to anyone who got married there over a year ago. However, any advice would be greatly received as it's a bit of a mine field.
