moving to luanda with your famil? think twice.

if you are moving to luanda with your family please consider a few thing before you do.
-schools are very expensive and in most cases they are reserved certain companies or you have to be from certain embassies.
-good medical treatment is hard to find, and your safest bet is to find it outside the country.
-public parks and playgrounds are few and littered with broken glass jagged metal, and mangled equipment. the private ones are much better but you will pay alot to use them.
-public pools are not in bad shape but strange hours and are only avaliable for general swim one or two days a week.
-beaches are nice infront of the beachfront restaurants, but the waves are too big for most children.
this place has its pluses(playgroups, camping, and water sports), but it has taken us 8months so find our way around and settle in.
