I'm a Software Developer and Software Architect currently living in Canada (I am Canadian) with the intention of moving abroad.
I look at the types of rates that can be had by IT consultants and companies here in Canada and companies are willing to pay $100 to $200(US/CDN) for consulting on the relatively high end. Independent contractors typically can find work at $50 to $80/hr through a recruiter.
My question, for someone wishing to live a nice lifestyle in Argentina - is it feasible to find similar lucrative consulting contracts with companies in Argentina or other S.A. countries?
Or would you recommend your business to stick to existing or new business clients from North America while working from home?
