Ecuador/Peru/Chile to BsAs by Rental Car - One Way

I think the best way for me to comfortably explore S.A. is by car. Trains/buses are too sketchy and uncomfortable from what ive read - car lets me go where and when I want.

Preferrably I'd leave from Peru (N. Chile maybe) and drive down the Chilean coast through the andes and mendoza wine country into Southern Chile - spend time Ushuaia and the areas around there - maybe glaciers too

then work my way up the other side of the coast to Bs. As. and likely stop there.

Does anyone have any advice or recommendations on this?
