Want to play some futbol?

Do you like football? Want to play a full-field, 11v11 tournament on the same fields that Boca Jr's prepare for their season? If you have a passion for football then Buenos Aires Cup is a great opportunity for you!

Buenos Aires Cup, the first international youth football tournament here in Buenos Aires to host teams from all five continents. The tournament takes place this July 24-30, 2011. This July we will see youth teams from over 10 countries converge on Buenos Aires to play against the local competition from Argentina and other South American countries. Our aim is to provide participating teams an experience of a lifetime, while promoting cultural development, the local community, and cross cultural integration all in the name of sport and fair-play. During the event itself, we will host seminars and lectures from top professionals and players involved in Argentine football. These same professional coaches and scouts will give teams an opportunity to be seen by some of the prestigious professional clubs in the country. In addition, we are proud to host the 2nd annual FIFA conference for women’s football development around the world. All participating teams and guests are invited to participate in these events as well as other cultural activities and fun ways for everyone to meet one another.

We are expecting between 2000-4000 participants and guests this year. We have developed relationships with embassies, sponsors, local organizations, expat communities, and clubs from all over the world. Many of the organizations that we work with are putting forth a team to represent their organization or are helping us reach out to the local communities in order to find more teams excited about the opportunity to participate. Right now we are looking for more expat teams wanting to compete. Our tournament mainly consists of youth teams, but we also have an open category for people of all ages. So if you are an expat living in Buenos Aires and are interested in either forming a team or joining an already existing team, please contact us! We look forward to hearing from you!
