house hunting in Cafayate, Salta

recently returned from Cafayate again, and would like to rent/purchase small house there. went around with realtor, it was slim pickings. Seems to be a housing shortage. Does anyone know the area or people living there that can help me out with some tips?
I love the area, would be staying 5-6 months, still maintain place in NYC. Its empanada heaven.
