Hello Everyone,
My name is Kristen, and my boyfriend Evan and I are currently traveling through Argentina. Our story is somewhat unique, as we met in Panama in May while taking spanish language classes together. We
hit if off immediately, and after some time decided to extend our time abroad and travel through Argentina together. So, here we are, two graphic designers from New York and California, who both love to
travel, experience new places, and are eager to practice Spanish. Though, in order to fulfill that last goal (of really learning spanish better), we want to find a situation in the Mendoza area (or anywhere
south of here) where we can work/live in exchange for room/board, and actually use spanish. If anyone has any suggestions/advice to help us accomplish our goals, we would greatly appreciate it. Also, we are open to a variety of different types of work (service jobs, farming, babysitting, etc.).
Perhaps our goals are a bit of a pipe dream, but I'm hoping otherwise. I trust if we reach out to enough people and ask enough questions, an
opportunity may arise. Plus, we are both graphic designers (see Evans website which is up and running - www.mrlentz.com ) with strong
marketing skills.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this. I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
