My home away from home

Hello everyone,
I know most people will think I'm crazy, but I am one of those expats who decided to move to Argentina with all my home goods, and believe me, I'm so glad I did. My fist thought was, the economy is so bad here and getting so much worse, that what you pay for a single chair here, is what I'd pay at home for a whole dining room set. I paid thousands of dollars less for bringing all my stuff from the US that what I would pay to buying it here. The next biggest pleasure, is that, now that my husband and I are unpacking and rearranging things in our apartment, we enjoy seeing our chairs, our beds, dinning set, dressers and all things that make the place look like our home in the US again. This is the moment when I feel glad to have gone thru all the trouble of bringing every item that makes our place feel home. If you decided to sell everything before moving abroad, that is fine, but is all depends on the country you're going to, their economy and the cost of living. In Argentina, things are excessively expensive, there are thousands of homeless sleeping on the streets. Prices for the most essential things go up on a weekly bases, and forget about furniture. That being said, I believe I made the right decision. So, feel free to send questions if I can be of help. Good luck!
