Radicacion - Residencia Temporal

Hello Fellow Expats,

We plan to visit Buenos Aires in February and would like to move to Argentina if possible.

I read the Direccion Nacional de Migracion (DNM) site and found that we would be able to change the immigration status from a tourist to a temporary resident (Rentista) in Argentina.

One of the Rentista option requirements is to submit a proof of the fund/income (30K pesos a month).

1. Is it possible to show a certain amount of money in our bank account (e.g. $30000 USD) instead of our monthly income?

2. Do we need to LEGALIZE the financial statement at the consulate?

Thank you in advance
