Hi everyone I am visiting the "Paris of South America" for 2 days and it is hardly enough. However, I will return in November of next year for 2 weeks. I have a few questions and would appreciate any assistance you can provide.
"Blue Rate" or an enhanced exchange rate for US Dollars. The rate given by banks today is around $190 ARS to $1.00 USD. Western Union is do an exchange of $360 ARS to $1 USD. I heard you just send yourself the money. I am sure there are fees but still worth it I hear. My issue is Western Union Offices are known for long lines. Any other way to get the higher rate?
Private Driver - For transfer from the Airport to the Savoy Hotel I am being charged $ 6500 ARS is that a normal rate for a Rimiss? I am going to use the same company for $2500 ARS per hour. My question is that a normal rate?
The company has good reviews on Cruise Critic a web board for people who cruise. The reviews are inconsistent recently on Google. However, the owner addresses each comment good or bad. He provided me the name of two clients one an insurance company in Spain and another being an airline.
Finally, any great restaurant recommendations or unique things to do while in Buenos Aires?
