searching for our favorite retirement city

We are traveling between Mexico and Argentina for the next 4-5 years, in search of our favorite retirement city. We speak Spanish, have lived in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and currently Guatemala. We prefer cool weather. So, we think we will like Buenos Aires, but it is hot 3 months of the year. Then we saw that Mar Del Plata has slightly cooler temps and is a nice beach city. And lastly, wondering if we might like Bariloche. We typically like medium to large cities. Any thoughts on the best cool weather city in Argentina ? Thanks !
