Family sponsorship

Hi all, I'm new here and looking for help/advice.......
My sister who is an Australian citizen has offered to sponsor me so that I can live/work in Australia. I realise life is not as simple as that so I'm seeking info as I'm not even sure this is possible.
About me:
55 year old and in good health
Divorced with two grown up kids
I have a partner (her daughter is NZ citizen)
Sister has been Aus citizen for 12 years

Not sure what else to add at this point so your help and advice is most welcome.....
