Temporary Import Advice!!

Hello! We are planning on traveling to the Bahamas in order to do post-production on our film. We will NOT be hiring Bahamians, dealing with money on any end, or basically "working" as the gov't would say. We simply want to finish up our film in a wonderful environment, this being, if we can bring in our computer! I know that there are many expats in the Bahamas who have computers and tv's and the like, so I know it is possible to bring these items in, but I am having trouble finding a viable solution. I know that the Bahamian gov't allows (under guidelines) temporary imporsts which is what we would want but how could we do this without receiving unnecessary heat from customs? We are willing to pay all taxes/duty etc. ANY advice and help with this would be greatly appreciated!!
