Moving to Nassau

Hi I have read so much good and bad. I have a possible job offer with Sandles in a proferrional position, I am female and will be relocating my family, bird and dog as well. I have been house shopping and keep coming across all these blogs about Nassau being bad and not safe. Everyone has an opnion but I love the culture, I want to expose my children to culture not the bs rat race in the us (all about what you have) My first priority is to keep my babies safe ( 24, 15,13,9). I mean I know where not to go in my county and my daughters were taught to dress and act like ladies not ho's we are not rich and in my field I certaintly can sta here where I already have a home-but my gut says it is an opportunity of a life time and I will be expected to retire there so one of you might end up becoming in-laws with me how cool! Please just stright up advise not people who hate life in general..
