Moving to Nassau

My family and i are looking at moving to Nassau early 2012 but we are unsure of which area to look into in regards to real estate. We are considering the Lyford Cay International School and i know that is on the Western Side of the island. But does it really take all that long to get from the Eastern side to the Western side and is traffic during peak hour really really bad? Also can anyone provide me with some information on LCIS?? Any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks
