New Providence Apartment Rentals

Can anyone recommend a good place to look for an apartment on New Providence? We would like to be close to some amenities (groceries, etc) but our main concern is a safe neighborhood. From looking at maps I can't tell if there's many apartments on the west side of the island. We would like to be out of the city a bit... not necessarily right on the water (I'm sure it's more expensive) but at least walking distance to a beach. Any suggestions/information would be greatly appreciated! It seems like all the links I click on concerning moving/rentals take me to timeshare and vacation info! I'm looking for a long-term residence! (2 bedroom). Thanks!
