Help needed to move to Nassau

Hopefully I've secured a position to work in Nassau.

I am intending on moving first and my wife+daughter following after a couple of months. This is to give me time to sort things out before they arrive.

Any advice on:

How I can go about finding a safe short-term rental for me (2 or 3 months)

We want to have a great experience and I've read a lot about rising crime in Nassau. Any advice on what areas to live for a worry free move?

Also our schools for a 12year old (yr7). I had looked at St Andrews any views or alternatives?
