Arriving in Nassau

Hi, I am relocating to Nassau from London and arriving in Dec with my son who is 6 mths old. My husband is already there and is looking for a place to rent our budget is $2500 looking for 2 beds in a gated community with is family friendly, I know Sandyport is recommended but there doesn't seem to be many available properties, anyone have any other suggestions? he has seen Ocean West with a nice townhouse but we have no idea if it's suitable for me and my baby.

Also, anyone give me some ideas what I can do with my baby to keep ourselves occupied?

Any mums and baby groups I can join?
