Propane or charcoal?

We will be moving to Nassau in several months from the US. I have learned alot from this forum (current gas prices, mail/post options, etc) already but have a question. We are trying to determine which type of grill to bring, what are prices or availability for propane and charcoal? Are there island restrictions for either? Thank you for your guidance :)
