Relocation Advice

Hi All,
I am considering a Job offer Teaching at the UWI Center for Hospitality & Tourism Management in Nassau. I would come the first year and family would follow. Currently I am living in Maryland and would like your help with the following questions:
1. What would be a "comfortable salary range in Nassau given the high cost of living?
2. Rental rates for a 2 bedroom apt?
3. should I buy a car or have my car shipped?
4. Cost and location of a quailty health club?
5. What would be your #1 piece of advice for a new person living in Nassau?
6. Anyone one heard anything positive or negative about the UWI Center for Hospitality & Tourism Management in Nassau
