Canadians Moving To Nassau

Hello,

There is a possibility in the next several months that my family and I may be moving to live and work in Nassau. We have a 6-year-old. And I'm just wondering about anyone's experiences and recommendations about International Schools. Where to live that is safe on the island. Are there any Canadian communities and if so what area? I have the Bahamas Handbook, but I'm also wondering about cost of living of Toronto vs Nassau. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Many thanks...Luntsy
