Hello Everyone!! I am wanting to move to the Bahamas by August at the latest with my two children 7 and 4. My boyfriend is Bahamian and we are wanting to live together. I do not need to work while I am there I am a disabled veteran and have sufficient funds to live on so I will not require a job. I am trying to see what exactly I need to do to stay long term (at least a year). I have been researching on different websites but each one says something different. One says I can stay 8 months without a VISA and the other says I can apply for a multiple entry VISA that last up to a year. so I am soooo lost and looking for any help that I can get. Also I need a good way to find a long term rental. I want something in a safe neighborhood near schools for my children and I would like a three bedroom but for the first year I really only need a two bedroom and I want to stay at $1100 or less. I have seen a few on the different websites but I want to look for something as well that will not be posted online. I will be flying over next month without the children to look and hopefully secure a place..Thank you all in advance for the help and I look forward to all of the help and input.
