Bahamian Citizen considering a move back home.

It's a scary prospect BUT my husband and I are seriously considering moving to Nassau early next year. I'm Bahamian, hubby is European, our daughter was born abroad and does not have Bahamian citizenship. We have a dog, that will relocate with us.

We are currently based in South East Asia and have been for the last 6 years and were in Europe before that. After 15 years abroad, we are perhaps crazy to consider this move, but we miss family, beach, friends, and CONCH. Plus if it doesn't work out as we expect, we will probably just leave after a couple of years.

SO, any advice regarding salaries (we are both professionals: lawyer and architect); rental rates, relocating with a dog, spousal permits/residency for daughter, etc would be greatly appreciated! As a Bahamian I know the system is notoriously slow, and based on "who you know", so we are doing our homework from now!
