US Phone number with incoming and outgoing calls

Were visiting the Bahamas (on a boat). Looking for a way to have an outgoing and incoming US phone number.

Looking for <$1 a minute. Have hourly calls a few times a week.

T-Mobile/Verizon roaming is very expensive.

Satellite does not offer a US area code. (has it's own country code)

We can get a Bahamas Sim, and maybe some call forwarding option to get calls, but outgoing will still show a foreign number, looking to have US phone number on outgoing calls.

Is there anyone out there that has got this down?
