Sailing through the Abacoes(sp)

I'm expiating (sic) this fall on Rebecca (41 ft sloop). starting the look for my new home in the Bahamas. I'm looking for a place to reopen my studio and foundry, living on Rebecca and working on shore. Working not for profit but for the sake of doing my art. Looking for a place with chickens in the streets and a populace who get along just fine without a Walmart.
I'll keep looking until I find it--I'll know it when I'm there.
I'm also looking for a crewmate who has a longing for a wonderful sail from St. Mary's Ga to "who knows where"

Any suggestions? Any takers?
