Moving to Freeport?

My husband and I are moving to Freeport to retire in the last quarter of 2018. We would like to know if anyone has any advice regarding immigration status. We are planning on living there for at least 7 to 8 months out of the year. We are also planning on shipping our boat and living aboard. Any suggestions on marinas that accept liveaboards would be helpful too.
