HELP! I just received a job offer and will be moving there very quickly and would love some guidance.
I have met with a realtor and wondering if it's possible to buy a decent place in Cable Beach area for $500-550k? I am a single female and want to feel safe ~ she is showing me things that are $600~800k. I would prefer not to rent but may need to?
Secondly ~ where to look for a car? I will be staying and working at Baha Mar for 30 days but need to get a car. What do they typically cost and is cash preferred? Did see very many mopeds there? Don't know if that is possible?
Is there recommendations of what to"stock up" on from the States? I.e personal items, prescriptions, hair dye etc? What do you wish you would have done?
Cellphone ~ will be provided one but my family lives in the States and not sure if the plans in Bahamas are similar. Texting? FaceTime?
Anyone that can assist in anyway is super helpful as everything is happening so fast!
