Hoping to move

Hi. I currently work from home entirely for an American company. My husband has a chance for a job. But if we were to move before his, because I work from home, would we be able to move if he does not have it yet. I make more than enough to cover all of our expenses. But we would be looking to rent at first. Are there reasonable rentals available?
