Bringing my mix breed dog who looks like a Pit Bull to the Bahamas

Hello,
We are planning a move to the Bahamas this summer. We have a dog that “looks” like a Pit Bull. We were told when we got her that she is a mix of bulldog and boxer. I read that Pit Bulls are banned. I’m wondering if this will pose a problem?
Does anyone have experience with this?
