Need information please

I currently live in Florida and am originally from Cuba. I am not married. I'm looking to move to a tropical area not too far from my children and grandchildren. I'm 62 years old.

I've been to Freeport and like the quite lifestyle. Would like to plan ahead and talk to a few people there as well as the authorities to get a picture of reality. Don't want to be given the fairy story; want facts - good and bad.

Of course, I would like to live on the water in a moderate home; I'm not rich. I'd like to start a small business there. I currently have a small business in Florida where I can still work remote from home.

Don't know what the healthcare is like. Looking to speak to an expat who already lives there. Thank you.
