German international school vs. Brussels international school

Hi all, i'm moving with my two children grade 6 and 8 to belgium , they both come from a bilingual school (german american) and before that have attended an international school abroad. they are half german but have always attended international schools. My question is has anybody with children in international schools abroad put their kids in the German international school ? if so was the pure german curriculum too hard ? is the school as welcoming as other international schools? are the teachers friendly? At what level do they teach English? any advice weather i should put themn inthe GIS or the BIS?
any advice would be great as i am in a dilemma sort of.
thanks
