any updates???

most of the info i find is very dated. like the cost of butane, one site says it cost $30 for a 100lb tank. yet another site says $96 for the same. i heard that the retirement program is going to double the fees as of april 1 this year. most of the books ive bought / found are 2 + years old. belize looked like the perfect place for non spanish speaking $2500 us retirees to go to. but the more i look it looks like panama or mexico is a better choice.
any comments to persuade or not to still move to belize?
