many questions about belize

hello to all here....i have so many questions about living in belize....my husband is going to retire at the of this year and he really want to move to belize....we are thinking about renting there for 6 months to see what really like ........if we like it then i love a home on beach on the main land....he does not want to live on the island......and that ok with me....does anyone know really how much land goes for near the beach on the main land....we are looking for over 2 aces of land near the ocean

we love to found out how much does it cost to build a home with custom kitchen cabinets as well......i love my to have my dream kitchen.....he wants solar on the house and plus catch rain water as well......

i am bringing my suv with us and i like to know how easy it to get it service...like oil changes and other services it needs...it is 2011 nissan...

what really is food cost there....we are more beef and pork eater then chicken....he love corn and i love green beans....plus i do love salids.....

does anyone know really know how much is go to dentest to get there teeth clean....and so forth...

we will have medical from my husband work when he retire ....i call them and they said we need to pay the bill in full then send them copys of the bill they would be pay us back....

but i was wondering i hear of difference insurance that maybe we should have if case there a med problem and we need to fly back to usa....like i said i have tons of questions......

we do have a son with autism and he not coming with us ....i spoke to american embessney of belize and they told point blank do not bring him to belize........plus they told there is tons of crime in belize and told us we should really think about moving from from us

so what is real true about crime.....is it really local to belize city ......we are talking about putting in system in the house to feel safe......

i love taking photos and i have a great camera with some wonderful lenses so i am hoping to blog our lives down there....from living there and building our home and everyday stuff.....and getting out taking tons of pictures....

one thing i heard about is that sometimes it really tough to get deed to the land after you buy the land....how do we make sure we get clear title ....i know we should and we are going to get title insurance from us.....

does anyone ever need pest control service in there homes......i am not crazy about bugs in my homes....and i know i am not only one....i feel they should be outside....husband was worried about killer bees as well.....not sure if there any in belize to worried about......

i know this ask about but between caring for son who is non verble he want all my time when he home...so searching on the internet has been tough for me.....so my questions are out there.....thank you so much for you time ....and i hope that someone can help with my questions....
