I have found the home and am about to sign contract. I live in FL and haven't looked at the house but one time several months ago. I love the house and feel safe with the location (Placencia Village off the Sidewalk). I am a bit nervous because the house needs a lot of workd.. It doesn't even have interior doors (just curtains) I reached out to Plett’s Home Builders but they said they don't do renovations. I need help with inside work, any suggestions? Also what should i be asking the real estate againt . Below are a few questions I intend to ask, can you add anything else?
What year was the dwelling constructed?
What is size of house? 16x24, 20x30 or 20x40
Is there a hot water heater?
Heat/Air?
When was last time septic tank pumped? Is there a sewage pump
What is the drinking water source? Is tap water safe to drink?
Is there a rain cistern?
Age of roof, any leaks or problems with roof?
Is plumbing and electrical in working order?
