Hi all,
We are hoping to make the move next year, my hubby has got job interviews lined up, but I just wanted to ask a few questions.
My hubby is a type 1 Diabetic (insulin dependant), I know the Caribbean as a whole has a high rate of diabetics, but what is it like on Bermuda, i.e. doctors that specialise in diabetes? Are they good, up to date on things?
We will also be moving a baby - 6months ish... What is it like for young kids? From what i've red it's a friendly/social place, is that right. And also what are hospitals/doctors like there should we need one?
We currently live in Hong Kong, and would want to ship some of our things with us. How easy is it to get an unfurnished place?
What is island life like, unlike parts of the Caribbean there aren't any other islands nearby, so how do you deal with Island Fever?
Many Thanks - any tips are welcomed.
