I'm a US citizen living/working in Asia for past 12 years (Singapore, China, now Taiwan).
Lived in Brazil (Sao Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul) for a couple of years when I was younger.
Now my Taiwanese wife is interested to learn Portuguese and I'm considering if there may be some kind of import business opportunities in a town like Floripa (I speak English, Chinese and Portuguese).
I'd love to give my wife (and two young kids) the chance to enjoy Brazil, but I'd like to understand something more about the commercial environment in Santa Catarina. If anyone has any experience with a local import or distribution business, I'd be glad to hear your stories or advice.
