Hi everyone,
in a little bit more than 2 months I am going to move to Brasilia, Brazil. I've been there several times, and my little daughter lives there after my separation with her mother.
I am fully aware of their culture, I speak fluent Portuguese and I am really excited to start this new adventure.
I have a few questions that I hope someone can answer:
1) I live in Italy, what is the best shipping companies you suggest for the moving? I am not going to take furniture, but only mainly clothes, 2 tvs, satellite receiver (I can't miss any Italian soccer!), videogames, pans and a few kitchen appliances.
2) How does it work for the customs? I have already requested the permanent visa to stay there, would it work to avoid taxes on the things I am bringing over? I am particularly worried with the electronics, of course!
3) I am willing to also take my dog, a 7 years old english bulldog. Does anyone know where I can find info about this? what documents is she going to need?
I really hope someone can help me about all this, and I can become an expat soon! :D
Ciao
Francesco
