well as my previous post : " Leaving NYC for SP... am I crazy... advice pls!" I've decided to move to BH. My son was born two months ago, the rent is increasing, the job decreasing, my wife's job is not selling and her boss is threating her to lower salary.... and on top of that the second dip (recession) is around the corner, so no question about moving out of this place.
Now, I'm applying from NYC for the VIPER visa, I was told it's faster than applying within Brazil. I'm waiting for the FBI records and from there my wife signs a Termo de Resposabilidade at the consulate along with a thousand docs. The consulate sends this application to Brasilia and waits for approval.
The question is... Does anyone know how long does it take in Brasilia? I heard that about two months.... Thanks
