Hey everyone
I am looking to move to Brazil very soon to teach English. I know Portuguese already so I think I should be able to find something.
I had two questions though
If I decide I don't want to teach English when I get there but want to do another job instead would that be very difficult, especially to find one which paid well. I was working in TV but in a very specific field and so I would have to start from scratch in another career where they need someone with good english presumably, but would this mean I'd earn minimum wage and not have very good career prospects?
Secondly I was just wondering what it's like for single expat women in Brazil (main cities like Rio). Are Brazilian men open to dating expats or is it harder than the London dating scene.
Thanks so much
Lyra
