Trying to move to brazil with my brazilian husband

So my husband and I met and got married in Canada. I am Canadian and he is Brazilian. We have decided to move to Brazil so he can seek medical treatment immediately for some issues as it would take about a year for him to get his Canadian health card.
My question is what visa would I apply for to go to Brazil with him. We only have a couple months before we need to leave and we plan on staying there for several years so I'd like to be able to work teaching English. Also, with all the money were spending here in Canada if they ask for proof of sufficient funds for a tourist visa I would not be able to get in seeing as my husband has our money and his parents will be supporting us when we first get there anyway.

If anyone has any helpful information please let me know. My husband and I are freaking out because we don't want to be separated.
