Used to spend time in the south of Brasil and Curitiba 10 years ago.
Have not been back since.
It's a nice well organized place with lots to see.
How is life there today ?
What about public school teaching, technical jobs ?
Did see a lot of interesting jobs on Glassdoor.com
How about cost of living ?
OLX has many reasonable rentals there and in the area.
What about the outlying suburbs, what is it like to live there - say within 30 minutes of the center of town ?
Being at 3500ft, I am sure it's cool in the winter, which I like.
What kind of heat do most aptos use; gas or electric ?
