Where to move to?

Hi,

Could anyone give me some advice on where is the best area to look for a home in?

I am going to go out there for a few weeks at the beginning of next year to get a feel for the place, but would like to know roughly what areas to start my searches.

I have 2 young sons so would need to be located nearish to a school. I'd like to find a safe rural, warm location with cheap homes that have a decent amount of land.
