Polski Trumbesh and what to expect etc.

Hello.
We are looking at buying a property just outside Polski Trumbesh (around 8km outside). Can anyone tell me anything about the area? Also, I am told that attitudes toward private property in Bulgaria are very different to the UK - can anyone elaborate on this?
