Newbie - looking to buy chalet/appt

Hi

Me and my husband are in the very early stages of considering to purchase a chalet or appartment in Bulgaria (husband likes skiing), I like the sea! Somewhere in the middle would be great but understand a lot of travelling would be involved.

We're just looking for some advice as to where you started....how did you decide where to buy and/or move to and how did you go about it?

Any advice you can give us would be appreciated.....we are going to Bulgaria in August to do further research.
