Hi all
We are thinking of buying somewhere in Bulgaria, firstly as a holiday home but with a view to move there once the kids have left home in around 4/5 years time.
We are in very early research stage so have lots of questions!

We are aware that jobs are hard to come by. We want to buy land and be as self sufficient as possible but we will need some sort of income. What options would be have?
We want to be rural but would rural, maybe within a 45 mins drive of a tourist area be better so we could offer a holiday let or work in the tourist area?
Any suggestions as to what we could do to earn money would be great. We wouldn't need a big wage, just enough to get by!
