What Questions Should I Ask?

Good evening!

My wife and I are talking about moving to Bulgaria. We don't have any set date yet. Both of us are full time students; my wife is getting her B.A. and, while I am an apprentice electrician, I am a full time marketing student.

We have two sons, one is seven and the other is three. So we have to think of them first when we decide to make the move.

My wife likes the city and I like the country. My wife is considering teaching English, as she is an English major at university. I am interested in gardening and raising chickens, possibly for a modest income if that is feasible (I am interested in selling free range, exotic breeds to high end restaurants in the city). I would also like to brew my own beer and make my own wine. And we are interested in green living as much as possible (as an electrician I can install solar, hydro, and wind power).

I am well aware that my thinking may be wishful, and that is why I'm writing this. I was wondering what I need to know before and while we begin this journey. I don't know what to ask first, but I find myself researching electrical codes and agriculture in Bulgaria. My wife is researching areas to move to.

Is anyone already doing what I'm hoping to do?
