I was wondering if there was anyone who has become a Permanent resident/Myanmar citizen that came from a Western Nation. I would like to hear your experiences please!
I was born in Australia but have visited Myanmar every 3-4 years ever since. I have grown to love the country and the people there. Im currently studying a Bachelor of Nursing but plan to move before I turn 25. I can now speak, understand and write in burmese well too. More than living a wealthy life, I want to live a peaceful life helping communities and children around me. I want to teach english, burmese and other life skills to children that are unable to attend school in Myanmar. My parents says it isn't a good idea because it will be hard to find a living in Myanmar, and they don't agree with me becoming a Myanmar Citizen. I would like to hear people's thoughts :)
