Newfoundland-bound?

I'm currently working on an American congressional political campaign which ends after the election on November 5th. So I'm soon to be at loose ends. I've been wanting to live in Newfoundland for years and years, but I can't afford to just live there without having some sort of job. I know how economically-depressed the province is and how many Newfoundlanders live elsewhere because they can't find work at home, but I'm still hopeful. Am I crazy?
