We have come to Canada on a 6 month visitor visa whilst our Permenant Residency visa is being processed. We thought that we might be able to get work and apply for a permit while here, but seem to be drawing a blank so far. We are both qualified to post graduate level with backgrounds in careers guidance and voluntary sector management. Does anyone have any advice as to where we might apply for work with companies who are willing to go through the HRSDC process? We are on Vancouver Island at the moment, but are willing to travel until things are more settled.
