info on buying a biz (kennels/cattery)?

hi, im thinking of moving to canada to buy a kennels & cattery probably in/around alberta. how do canadians view their pets and is it a good biz prospect? i've found the odd kennels but there doesn't seem to be many kennels (online anyway). any advice or pointers would be a massive help.
